Desert Safaris
This is a must do for everyone coming to Dubai. Think of it as a Roller Coaster on sand dunes. Indulge a sumptuous BBQ dinner under the stars and enjoy watching authentic belly dancing. This tour begins with a ride across the desert with many stops for photo sessions and first destination being a camel farm. The ride continues with a stop to watch the beautiful sunset with an opportunity to have a camel ride near your campsite. Near the campsite, you get the opportunity to try out henna design on feet or hand. You can also enjoy a barbecue meal along with shisha (the Arabic water pipe)
Some of the activities included:
- Pickup point anywhere in Dubai and Sharjah between 3.15pm and 4.00pm by a 4 x 4 wheel drive
- Dune Bashing: This is a drive through the desert along Al Awir Road
- Dune Driving: This lasts for 25-30 minutes
- Sunset photography
- Belly dancing
- Camel rides
- Henna painting
- Shisha
- Traditional costumes
- Buffet dinner and BBQ (You can order vegetarian food too)
- Unlimited supply of soft drinks, coffee, tea and mineral water
Do's and Don'ts
- Always carry a camera when going on a desert safari in order to capture breathtaking scenes and awesome views.
- Always wear comfortable clothes and avoid wearing expensive jewelery or watch.
- It is advised not to bring children below 3 years, pregnant women and elderly people as this ride can be hazardous to ones health.
